The charges, the percentage of which to turnover
is exceptionally high, include the item Interest. In
1912 Interest amounted to $.12,800, by far the largest
item of expense. I presume this points to a long credit
system. If so, it appears to be worth while. The other
large items under Charges are salaries and allowances,
and discounts.
